1 Minute Videos: Herbivore Botanicals Exfoliating Floral Pink Clay Mask

I am a huge fan of clay masks and use them about once a week before my weekly hair wash session. I am also a huge fan of pink things, so when I saw this Herbivore Botanicals Pink Clay Exfoliating Floral Mask at Anthropologie I had to pick it up.

It comes in a powder form and you mix it yourself, so that seemed like a fun thing to do on a Friday night. Check out my 1 Minute Video below!

Couple of things, I don't know if I made my mix too thick or this is just the formula, it was a little more difficult to wash off my face than an average clay mask, so I had to keep a wet face towel on it for a little longer to actually get it off. I'll have to try another time with a thinner consistency to see if that helps. I was also hoping that this mask would be actually pink, but it's more of a pinky brown color, like, I duno, mud.

I used a silicone mask brush to apply the mask, and I love these because it doesn't waste as much product as a normal hair brush. I got mine in a two pack from amazon here for like $5, and gave one to my sister in law.

I got this mask from Anthropologie for $22 (THEY HAVE BEAUTY STUFF?) but the mask is also available on amazon for $26 right now, scoop it up if that's something you're into!

Copy of Glam Glow Supermud Clearing Treatment aka The Magical Elixir of Youth

Listen. I am as susceptible to hype as the next average consumer, and my goal here is to always give honest reviews and opinions on everything I test and use.

Ok, that said, I got a sample size of the Glam aglow Supermud Clearing Treatment from Sephora with my VIB points and I'm pretty sure I am 5 years younger now. That's how it works, right?  I already tell people I'm 16, and now I can really look it.

So I have tried my share of mud masks and they're great at for pulling impurities out of your face and give you soft skin, but this stuff is next level. It tingles a little when you put it on, which kind of makes it feel like it's working hard at whatever it's doing. Hang out and let it dry for 15-20 minutes or whenever it's dry to the touch and then remove it with a warm washcloth.

I watched a funny YouTube video while it dried which was difficult because I was trying not to laugh bc it was cracking the mud, so I turned it off and just sat and waited.

I took it off and felt my face for like 30 minutes because I couldn't believe how soft my face was. I don't exactly go around feeling babies butts, but this is exactly how I imagine they would feel. I'm not even exaggerating I was super impressed with how soft my skin was. I don't have a drop of makeup on in this picture, and my face was so bright and clear.

This mask is NOT cheap. If you can sell some part of your soul for this I highly recommend it though. Or if you just have 100 Sephora points you can get it too. Which is probably easier and better for you in the long run.

Put this stuff on your holiday wish lists or buy it with your independent woman money, just GET THIS.

It's $69 (ayeeeee) for 1.7 oz at Sephora, and I'm not sure but you can ask if they accept first born children as well.

Have you tried this? What are you favorite mud masks? Got any cheap dupes I need to know about? LET ME KNOW!
